I have been a Teacher for 18+ years, mostly at the high school level in the Math and Science areas. As I reflect on what I have observed in the "traditional education" setting, in particular the role of technology, I get the feeling we kind of missed the boat. Even worse, other ships are preparing to leave port and I wonder if "Traditional Education" will be left behind or begin to build its own ship.

The picture attached to my profile is of the Avatar Lehnerd Euler that I use on the Virtual World Platform Second Life. On other Virtual World Platforms, I try to keep the name and look as similar as possible.
